NWCEO Regional Meetings provide opportunities for charter developers, operators and sponsors to network around common issues and share best practices with peers in the same region, and to connect with NWCEO staff around larger-scale issues in Oregon's charter school movement.
How to become an accredited charter school ( through the Northwest Association of Accredited School) will be a featured topic. Travel reimbursement will be provided through the Phoenix Charter School/NAAS/NWCEO Dissemination Project.

Risk Management Series-Playground Liability and Safety/Supervising Students During Unstructured Times

Part 4 of the "Risk Management for Charter Schools Training Series" provided in conjunction with the United Schools Insurance Program of Oregon (USIPO) and the Fournier Group. This workshop is designed for administrators and staff who supervise students during recess and other unstructured times. Key content includes: Specifics about playground equipment; Appropriate supervision of playground areas; What to do if an injury or accident occurs; Supervising students during unstructured times such as recesses, field trips, etc.
